New regulation on municipal waste in Torrevieja
The regulation introduces, among other things, a ban on disposing of rubbish outside the hours of 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Failure to comply with the new regulations may result in fines, such as €150 for disposing of rubbish outside the designated hours or €1,500 for failure to collect animal excrement or diluting urine with liquids that remove odours and stains by an animal owner is a serious offence
The new regulation came into force on Wednesday and provides for penalties of up to €500,000 for the most serious offences.
