Santa Pola - a port town located just 10 minutes from Alicante International Airport.
A town with a long history, a historic fortress-castle, nicely exposed archaeological sites from the Roman period.
Situated between the two beautiful natural parks of Salinas de Santa Pola and Cabo de Santa Pola.
About 5.5km out to sea is the island of Tabarca - an interesting excursion destination for tourists. During a cruise it is very common to see dolphins living in the local waters.
Santa Pola has a large fishing port with a marina - in their area there are many restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir shops.
There are also rental shops, boats, kayaks and other water sports equipment.
Santa Pola enjoys a Mediterranean climate, mild winters, hot summers tempered by the coastal breeze.
