Midsummer Night 2026 on the beaches of Torrevieja
Midsummer's Eve 2026 on Torrevieja's beaches
Midsummer's Eve 2026 will be celebrated in Torrevieja with traditional beach bonfires, where hundreds of people gather on Torrevieja's beaches to perform a cleansing ritual. This involves lighting a bonfire on the sand and jumping over it to free themselves from all the bad things that have happened during the year.
At the end of the ceremony, feet are briefly immersed in the water to experience the full power of the sea.
At 11:59 PM, a grand fireworks display will begin from the Juan Aparicio promenade, visible from all of Torrevieja's beaches.
